I have a special interest in functional training, and I did my master's thesis on water exercise. My research has focused on wellness in college-age students and programming for Navy personnel. My passion is teaching safe, effective, research-based fitness information in order to encourage healthy lifestyles and focus on prevention of illness.
Contract/Grants:
08-10" -Senior Health Assessment Program No. HDQMWR-08-R-0005 with the United States Navy. Grant is to provide six Fitness Specialists to three Navy bases (Norfolk, VA, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and San Diego, CA) to begin the SHAPE program for the US Navy.
