- Served as an Indiana University FASE Mentor
- Produced, directed, and wrote plays for children's theater troupe the "Mini-Mummers"
- Gave workshop on creating websites at the Frymier Institute for Ethical Leadership sponsored by Phi Delta Kappa
- Delivered workshop on creating and maintaining effective websites at Indiana vocational educators conference in fall of 2001
